| The cabin,
original to the property, is situated on a 28-acre farm.
Inside the cabin is a kitchen, bath, and a queen-size
bed. Cold cereals, juices, coffee and an assortment of
teas are provided. All utensils, plates, pots, and pans
needed to prepare and enjoy your own meals undisturbed
are on hand. The charm of the cabin, aside from its peaceful respite, is the painstaking restoration and period furnishings by Homestead Woodworking. The pieces include a functional dry sink, peasant chairs, a wing chair (circa 1690), Shaker end table, (circa1860), a wardrobe with Pennsylvania Dutch folk art paintings on the door panels, and a large corner cupboard. The period decor of the cabin reflects the practical and decorative art of the Pennsylvania Dutch.
